// How pricing works

No price list.
One honest quote.

Every Project Pixel build is bespoke, so every build is quoted on its own. Tell us the problem, we scope it, and you get one written proposal with a fixed price and a fixed timeline. Nothing is charged at sign-up.

// The process

Enquiry to build, in four steps.

01

Tell us the problem

Not the spec. What the business needs to happen, where the current setup falls down, and what it is costing you.

02

Scoping call

We work through the customer journey, the systems you already use and the custom parts that need building. Usually 30 to 45 minutes.

03

One written proposal

A fixed price, a fixed scope and a delivery timeline in writing. If a bespoke build needs a discovery phase first, we quote that separately and honestly.

04

Build and launch

50% to start, 50% before we push it live. Everything runs through your Project Pixel portal: briefs, files, approvals and invoices in one place.

// The four ways we work

Four named offers. Every one quoted on its own.

// What moves the number

Why we quote instead of publishing a price.

Scope

How much there is to design, write and build.

Complexity

How much custom logic sits behind the pages: flows, portals, CRM, calculations.

Integrations

The tools and data we need to connect to and keep in sync.

Delivery time

A compressed timeline costs more than a comfortable one.

Support

Hosting, care, changes and ongoing development after launch.

Partnership

Through Labs, some builds are shared cost, revenue share or fully funded.

Quotes are ex-VAT and in pounds sterling. Hosting and third-party subscriptions are listed clearly in the proposal. The price only changes if the scope changes, and we quote that separately before any work starts.

Payment, in plain terms.

  • Nothing is charged at enquiry or at sign-up
  • 50% to start, 50% before we push the site live
  • Card or bank transfer, invoiced through your portal
  • Staged or monthly payment plans can be agreed in the proposal
  • Ongoing hosting, care and development quoted separately
  • No surprise invoices, ever

// Common questions

Pricing, answered.

Why is there no price list?
Because no two bespoke builds are the same. A five page marketing site and a site with a custom quoting flow, a client portal and a CRM behind it are completely different pieces of work. We scope the problem first, then send one written price for that exact scope.
What isn't included in the quoted price?
Domain registration, third-party subscriptions (Google Workspace, CRM licences, email marketing tools), photography and premium stock imagery, and any legal or compliance review of copy you're required to have signed off. Everything else - hosting during build, staging, strategy, copy, design, build, SEO fundamentals, analytics - is inside the fee.
When do I actually pay anything?
Not at sign-up. You enquire, we scope the work on a call, then you get a written proposal with a fixed price. Payment is only arranged once you accept that scope. The standard structure is 50% to start and 50% before we push the site live, by card or bank transfer.
Does the price move once we start?
Not unless the scope does. The proposal fixes the price against an agreed scope. If you ask for something outside it we quote that separately before any work happens, so there are no surprise invoices.
Do prices include VAT?
Quotes are shown ex-VAT. We're UK VAT registered; VAT is shown on your proposal and invoice per the standard rules.
What drives the number up or down?
Scope and complexity, how much custom logic sits behind the pages, integrations with your existing tools, delivery time, and whether you want ongoing support and development afterwards.
Do you offer payment plans beyond 50 / 50?
Yes. Staged payments (start, midway, on launch), monthly arrangements or invoice by bank transfer can all be agreed in the proposal. Just raise it during the scoping call.
Can Project Pixel fund the build?
Sometimes. Through Project Pixel Labs we partner with businesses and founders on ideas we believe in, with custom agreements that can include shared cost, revenue share or a full funded build with an agreed payback.
How quickly can you deliver?
Straightforward sites usually run to a short, agreed window; custom software depends on the build. Either way the timeline is written into your proposal, and it holds as long as content, feedback and sign-off come back inside the agreed checkpoints. Miss a window and the timeline shifts by the same amount - we're honest about that up front rather than pretend otherwise.

Tell us the problem and we'll price the solution.
