// Service · Webflow

A Webflow web designer in Scotland, not a template flipper.

Webflow is our default stack for a reason: fast, secure, easy to edit, and it doesn't need a WordPress plugin patched every second Tuesday. We build and migrate Webflow sites for service businesses across Scotland — Edinburgh, Fife, Perth, Dundee and everywhere in between.

// Why this town, this site

Webflow isn't the tool — how you use it is

Anyone can drag boxes around in Webflow Designer. What separates a properly-built Webflow site from a bad one is the CMS architecture (so the client can actually publish without breaking things), the class system (so a rebrand in 18 months takes hours not weeks), and the SEO foundations (structured data, alt text discipline, proper heading hierarchy) baked in from the start. We've been on Webflow long enough to have opinions — including when NOT to use it. If you need heavy custom logic, complex user accounts, or a shopping cart with 500 SKUs, Webflow is the wrong tool and we'll tell you. For the 90% of Scottish service businesses that want a fast, editable, credibility-first site, it's the right one.

Sites built for the businesses that actually operate around here

01

New Webflow builds

Ground-up builds on our productised packages. Copy, design, CMS architecture, on-page SEO, launch. Trained on your team so you own the site properly at handover.

02

WordPress & Wix migrations

Rebuild on Webflow, migrate the content that matters, keep the SEO you've earned with proper 301 redirects, and finally get rid of the plugin update panic. Post-migration performance is usually 2-3x faster.

03

Ongoing Webflow support

Optional managed monthly plans: hosting via Webflow (we handle the account), CMS tweaks, new page builds, structured content additions. Cancel any time.

Webflow SEO is very good — if you set it up right

Out-of-the-box Webflow SEO is genuinely competitive with WordPress. What lets Webflow sites down is not the platform — it's builders who don't set up structured data, ignore Open Graph, leave default alt text, or use image sizes that murder Core Web Vitals. Every Webflow site we ship starts with an SEO checklist so none of that happens on your build.

Questions we get from around here

Why Webflow over WordPress?+
For a service business site: faster to build, faster to load, no plugin security holes, and a visual editor your team can actually use without breaking things. For a blog with 5,000 posts or a WooCommerce shop with 300 products, WordPress is still the right answer.
Will I get locked into Webflow's hosting?+
You'll be on Webflow hosting, which is the trade-off. It's fast and reliable but you can't take the site file and drop it on cPanel. In practice this matters less than people think — Webflow's uptime is excellent and the hosting cost is competitive.
Can I edit the site myself after handover?+
Yes — that's the main reason clients pick Webflow. Text, images, blog posts, new team members, prices — all editable through a visual editor. We record a screen-share walkthrough for your specific site at handover.
What about migrating my existing SEO / rankings?+
Full redirect map from the old URLs to the new ones, sitemap resubmitted to Google Search Console, meta and structured data preserved or improved. Migration rankings usually stay stable or go up because performance improves.
Do you build with Webflow CMS or third-party CMSs?+
Native Webflow CMS by default. It's plenty for 95% of the content structures our clients need. Third-party (Sanity, Contentful, Prismic) only when a specific workflow demands it.
How does the ongoing cost compare to WordPress?+
Webflow hosting: £15-30/month depending on plan. WordPress: 'free' hosting from £5/month plus premium plugins (~£300/year), plus security patching time. Real cost is comparable, but you get a lot less admin overhead with Webflow.
